AI at Bejaud Brothers Farm.
Approximately 60% of the Bejaud Farm does are artificially inseminated. One of the Bejaud brother is preparing the speculum. To inseminate the doe, she is place in a stand (notice the Alpine doe in the stand at the right side of the photo). The farm worker will virtually stand her on her head and the inseminating is done in a vertical plane. The Bejaud Brothers are enrolled in genes+ program of Caprigene. Their goal is to produce milk year-round using out-of-season breeding.
