Lactation Barn at Bejaud Brothers Farm.
Goats are moved in and out of the milking parlor using a series of drop-down gates that operate by cables and pulleys. In this photo, a drop-down gate can be in the background. A series of cables and pulleys lower the gate and another series of cables and pulleys move the gate back and forth. The gate in the foreground is also a drop-down gate; however, it is suspended on a frame and can be used as a conventional gate.
