Grange de Meslay.
The Conference Gala Dinner was held at the Grange de Meslay, 7 kilometers from Tours, in the heart of the Touraine region. The Grange de Meslay is a twelfth century fortified farm, set up around a 1,500 square-meter medieval barn built in 1220. The Grange de Meslay, originally part of the nearby Abbey of Marmoutier, was built by Ętienne de Mortagne under order of Hugues des Roches, the powerful 16th abbot of this famous abbey, which at the time had more than 100 priories under its control..
