Goat Field Day participants enjoy informational morning session.
The Goat Field Day is one of the most important activities of the year. The primary purpose of the Goat Field Day is for education and extension in areas of greatest interest to clientele of the Institute. The 15th Annual Goat Field Day of the E (Kika) de la Garza Institute for Goat Research theme was GOATS IN THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY. The general morning session was The Stages of Dairy Goat Farming by Mr. Vincent Maefsky, Meat Goats by Mr. Marvin Shurley and The Cashmere/Meat Goat by Dr. Don Huss.
