Angora Doeling on Round Bale Mountain
During hard winters, such as the winter of 2000, it is necessary to supplement pasture grazing with hay. Occasionally, there is a shortage of hay racks and we must place large round bales on the ground. Goats like to stand on high ground, which in this case is the top of the round bale. Unfortunately, wastage occurs with this method of feeding large round bales.
