Bullrush -Scirpus sp.

Bullrushes are a large group of plants with over 150 genera represented. They grow in shallow water and in moist soils. Some species may reach a height of 8-10 feet. Many but not all bullrushes have three sided stems. Leaves are on lower stems. Irregular seed clusters are densely packed on spikelets of varying length located near stem tips.
